Mariya Pepelanova is a Copenhagen based multidisciplinary artist working across photography and art direction.
Her practice moves between analog and digital mediums, exploring the tension between past and future through a refined, tactile visual language. Rooted in fashion and contemporary image-making, her work is defined by a strong sense of composition, spatial awareness, and material sensitivity.
Mariya has worked with clients including Balmain, Vogue Scandinavia, Marine Serre, and Samsøe Samsøe. In 2022, her work for Balmain was nominated by The Impression NYC for Best Creative Accessories Campaign.
She studied at RAMPEN – Copenhagen Film and Photography School.
